Micronet SP6510P8 Switch

The Micronet SP6510P8 is a professional 8-port gigabit switch specifically engineered for IP camera systems and security networks. Featuring two SFP uplinks, this switch provides maximum flexibility when expanding your network infrastructure, independent of power outlet constraints. This enables you to position cameras, wireless access points, and IP phones anywhere within your installation.

With advanced PoE functionality, the SP6510P8 can power up to eight IEEE 802.3af compliant devices or two IEEE 802.3at devices with a total power budget of 75 Watts. The switch automatically detects which devices are PoE-compliant and delivers power accordingly. This eliminates the need for separate power supplies and significantly simplifies installations across diverse environments.

For advanced network management, the SP6510P8 supports VLAN features (both protocol-based and IEEE 802.1Q), Link Aggregation for increased bandwidth capacity, and comprehensive QoS capabilities. Built-in IGMP Snooping prevents multicast traffic congestion, which is particularly valuable for video streaming applications. Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) and Rapid STP (RSTP) ensure automatic failover and enhanced network reliability.
